Best Design Trailer for Half-Ton

My personal limit on a half ton would probably be 6-7k lbs. The way I look at it, half tons are great people haulers and pretty good tow vehicles up that that point, but only marginal tow vehicles beyond that point. By contrast, modern heavy duty trucks are great tow vehicles and only marginally poorer people movers - just a bit stiffer ride and a little higher step-in height.

My advice to OP would be to upgrade the TV first and then upgrade the trailer second.
