Well my old girl is about roll a 100G and figured I might want to start watching here vitals a bit more. What are my options for a plug-n-play dash monitor and what do I really need for towing a TT?...

The transmission temperature is off the port. The EGT sensor was an easy install on a 5.9 as I had good access to the exhaust manifold. There are precautions that must be made when drilling and tapping to pick up all the metal chips and prevent them from making it into your turbo. Earlier trucks such as mine would deliver power and generate heat to the point of doing damage to the engine. The monitor will help you alter your driving habits to keep that from happening.
