You're talking 6000 miles minimum. In 6 weeks you'll have to be selective. Head somewhere. See that area in depth, with only short stops on the way. Then move on, and repeat. You don't want to spend the whole 6 weeks setting up and taking down your rig every day.
If it were me I would target perhaps 6 destinations, areas with lots to see around them.
