Best Inverter Generator under $500 for a TC
I already have a Honda 2000is but I am wanting the best genset under $500 to take the load off the Honda and for a loaner to family and friends... So what's the best bang for the buck? Champion/...

But that's how the World progress and even choosing hand sanitizer require quite some studying those days.
I had the same dilemma with brand-oriented car scanner. They cost pretty penny as well, when you can buy $3 Bluetooth plug that will work with your android.
What I did - I took advantage of Amazon hassle-free returns, bought 2 scanners, played with them for couple of weeks and returned the 1 I liked less.
With generators it might not be that easy, but Costco and Walmarts do have easy returns.
Comparing spec, from what I remember there are no standards to it.
Some manufacturers list the noise from 10 feet, other from 25 feet.
Forum replies are what they are. You ask about inverter generator and you will get replies "I like my 2-cycle one"
I think we need designated generators section :h
