Funny you bring that up..I have four from 2000 down to 175 watts but the thing is with those,they require a battery most likely two atleast..Batteries are expensive and solar is more expensive and you need either solar or electricity to maintain your batteries..
A cheap quality generator is about the same price as two RV batteries add solar and things really get expensive..You can buy a brand new Honda 2K for the price of one Lithium battery and that generator will last a lifetime as shown by Alaskans with 20-40,000 hours on them still chugging along.
Most RVer's go solar and alot are going Lithium,both to spendy for what I need..A generator can be used at home for power outages which happened here three times this last winter.
A generator does it all..Batteries need an inverter and then something to charge and maintain them..
I am old school..A quiet inexpensive generator for all needs and the buck stops there..LOL
