My take: Warranty length is not anywhere near important as factory support.
My Jayco had a 2 year warranty. The factory took so long to approve anything and send parts, it almost didn't matter. Plus it had some major body structural issues too and sat at the dealer for 8 out of the first 12 months. Upside, it was nice keeping the drive clear:). But it became such a hassle, I ended up just doing repairs myself, including rebuilding the sub-floor when the fresh water tank dropped out taking some of the floor joists with it.
My weekend warrior had good warranty terms as well. The problem I ran into was a limited dealer network away from the west coast. They paid for for mobile service for small repairs, but when i had major frame failure start (cracking) I had to go back to Oregon from NC, and it didn't make it. Insurance covered that one luckily, because a few months later they had to recall all their trailer frames and shortly there after went bankrupt.
Current trailer is an Outdoors RV. Bumper to bumper warranty is only a year, but the body structure is 2 years, and the chassis is 3 years. They have been great! Dealer visits rarely took more than a few days because they would approve repairs quickly and send parts on the next trailer being shipped out. I had some Schwintek slideout drive problem, which the dealer was unable to repair because it required R&R of the slide room, ORV sent a drive to pick up the trailer from my driver and take it back to the factory!
