My research indicates that kinetic Recovery Ropes are a LOT safer for everyone involved, and is also safer for both vehicles, (far less jerk on the rigs)

I carry a 2" recovery strap (not tow strap) and have never used it and hope not to. Not sure I see a big difference between recovery strap and recovery rope.
