Best PDI Checklist to take to Dealership?

i don't have much time - i do have a PDI list, but thought I'd check before I go today in case there is one better. do you have a recommendation for a PDI list?

thank you!
  • Also don't accept it until it's all fixed and ready. Yes it might be a pain, but better then waiting 2 months to get it maybe fixed.
  • Good one at Changingears.com Doesn't go into detail on the items though.

Take your time to go through everything. There are a lot of things that can be missed, even by some people who have been around TTs a long time. Dealers can miss a lot of things too.
  • There are some located in the Beginning RVing forum on this site. Try to be as thorough as possible but the main objective is that all appliances and systems (plumbing, electrical, propane) are demonstrated to be fully functional. Sure, you can spend half a day going over your rig from top to bottom but that won't mean you will find every defect. Do a bit of driveway camping before maiden voyage if you wish to vet the systems even more for added peace of mind.

Not always, but more than likely your rig will need some items attended to under warranty anyway. My last PDI was just over an hour and the dealer was well prepared for it as all systems were properly demonstrated and all our questions answered. Meantime our WD/SC hitch was installed and we hitched up as soon as PDI was completed. We experienced very minor issues that I remedied myself and haven't been back to the dealer going on 8 years.
