Exactly. I looked up John Wood Automotive and they're lowest price is $5,000. Honestly that's probably just about the value (or more) of this van.

We don't need a transmission overbuilt for heavy towing, this van is just going to transport kids around town so an OEM spec rebuild is just fine.

It looks like Jasper is right about $3,000 for a reman transmission. That's a little better but I was really hoping to keep it at $2,000 or less.
