You are kidding, right?
Nope .... not kidding.
When compared with equally equipped Ford and Chevy models the Dodge was my 3rd choice. The chevy ride and interior was much better in my opinion.
Not sure what equipment or model you were test driving , I just finished with this process on the 1 ton crew cab Shortbed : Chevy LTZ, Ford Lariat, and Ram Laramie Mega Cab, pretty much all with the same options. My conclusion overall , and for what it is worth, they are all great trucks, IMO the Ram had it over on both of them, and cummins speaks for itself, and I will repeat this coming from a guy that has owned a Superduty for nearly 16 years.
Ride IMO was tough to tell the difference , not enough to claim one over the other, they are trucks
Interiors I can only think you are comparing 2015 Chevy to the other two 2014's, if not Chevy IMO 2014, and back was far from par with the other two, I will say they are starting to get caught up with the 2015 changes, but IMO has nothing over on Ford or Ram
One of the many deciding factors for me was that the Ram Mega Cab had the longest wheelbase of the three, with Chevy being the shortest . IMO a big deal towing fifth wheels.
Chevy : 153.7
Ford : 156.2
Ram : 160.5
