You are kidding, right?
Nope .... not kidding.
When compared with equally equipped Ford and Chevy models the Dodge was my 3rd choice. The chevy ride and interior was much better in my opinion.
You fail to realize all of your posts mean nothing without specifying the individual truck trim levels, model years, options etc. I could say the same thing and actually have driven a 1991 Dodge Cummins 4x4 250, a 2014 Duramax powered Denali, and a 2004 Powerstroke Ford XL. Actually, your post would fit in the above situation.
For what it's worth. I did drive a 2013 Denali Duramax for about 500 miles with my boat behind it. It was a very nice truck, but the seating position did not feel comfortable to me. Everything else was nice. It was a little cramped with the console. I have not driven a modern Ford but do like the way they look. It is very hard to find a 4 door long bed and the dealerships want to "get one in". I did just buy a 13 Ram, and like the seating position much better. I bought a basic Tradesman and to me, the ride is about the same. I don't have the heated steering wheel(nice) or heated/cooled seats,(which I did not like), or navigation. But I also don't have the bulky console taking up so much room and I have navigation that stays updated all the time on my phone. It plays turn by turn over the sound system speakers and even GASP! allows me to change my destination without having to place my vehicle in park.
Bottom line, if you are buying a newer vehicle, 13 and newer, get the one that you like the looks most. They are all good trucks now and have about the same issues. I still think the more electronic devices inherently create more issues down the road, but people love their electronics.
