Here is an anecdote on used RV dealer pricing: when I sold my small class A motorhome I thought I would consign it to a local dealer to make life easier. He promoted the idea that he could arrange financing, fix any problems, etc. At the moment I didn't have a lot of time. His deal (and many of them are this way) was we agreed on the price I wanted to get, anything above that he would keep. I went off sailing for a few months. Out of curiosity, and the knowledge that it had not sold, I Googled my motorhome and found it, listed by this dealer for $81,000 marked down to $79,000. We had agreed I would get $40,000. From other listings I had guessed it might sell for $45 - 50,000 at a dealer. After four months I took it back, put it on Craigslist at $42,000 and sold it within 2 days for $40,000. The dealer had empty parking on his lot, and was willing to let it sit there forever until he found a sucker I guess.
When I sold my Bigfoot 9.6 TC, I put it on Craigslist at $10K. NADA was about $1800 I think. It sold with multiple interested parties.
Moral: don't trust NADA prices and for sure don't trust an RV dealer!
