Looking forward to trying mine on the road. Was thinking a 2nd camera on blind/right side may be nice. Its cool that you can rotate the picture...EDIT..Well,, I think the awning arms may mess that up.
Not sure about the optional 2nd camera, but I've enjoyed my Furrion. I have a 37' trailer and it picks up the signal without issue. - myredracerExplorer IIO sh**t. Plz pass over this dup. :S
- myredracerExplorer IIWe added a backup camera to our Garmin GPS in our 29' TT. Ran the wiring from the rear to the storage cabinet over the bed for the transmitter 100% concealed via the ceiling space.
After all the effort + hours of work, am not happy with the image quality and t's hard to make out what's happening behind the TT. Also, once in a while when I put the truck into reverse, the image won't pop up on the screen. Not sure why and haven't tried to figure it out.
Best backup camera available is a spousal spotter. :) However, it took several years to teach mine how to get the hand signals right, lol!! :( - BobbyvCOLOExplorer

Same here. 37' foot trailer and it works great. The trailer was already prepped for the Furrion from the factory, so it was just a matter of hooking it up. - Chuck_thehammerExplorerI use a garmin gps with backup camera behind trailer, this one is 2 1/2 years old. dezl 770 and BC-30.
and a Peak 3 1/2 inch for behind truck.. for hitching up.. this one is 6 plus years old..
both NOT THE BEST.. but affordable.. - rowekmrExplorerI never considered a back up camera for my TT until I drove a MH with one. What an excellent tool to use for not only back up but situational awareness while driving down the highway. I now want one for the hitch area since I hitch solo it will save me the countless trips out of the cab to check for tow ball alignment.
- Swell1ExplorerI use the Furrion on mine, works great.
