I have them on an AWD Astro van (225/75/16 E) and like them for their intended purpose. I drive a lot of rock and gravel and these have 3 ply sidewalls that just survive better down here. I've driven them in light snow a few times and had no issues. I've heard they don't do well on ice. Stiffer sidewalls make for a noticeable stiffer ride.
It's a tough heavy tire and rides accordingly (heavy is why they hold up better). I doubt I'd buy them for just "snow" tires. Too many better options. If I hadn't had problems with side wall punctures I'd probably not have gone with these.
They make this tire in a D rated 14" I'd sure consider for my next 14" trailer tires.. (-:}
No, I did not read all the replies. Hope you enjoy yours. They can really take some abuse and for me, that's worth some trade off.
