also, for the slideoutgap itself, did the following:
- added a slide topper, which will keep water off while I'm parked
- Cut a 2x4 to the correct length and wedged it inside the camper between the slideout and the interior wall, just like a slide lock. It sucks in the top and makes it seal all the way down, though not quite as securely as I'd like. I ordered an adjustable slideout lock from Alta which I think will be a cleaner version of the same concept.
- Using a suggestion I found buried in this site, I'm going to add 3/4" by 1" closed cell weatherstripping tape to the top rim of the slideout, where it is supposed to push against the seal but isnt reaching. That should make for a nice tight seal up there.
Hoping that will take care of the slide issue for a while. As for the sag, still working on that.
