Bigfoot 9.4 LB dinette bed size

Good morning guys. I'm considering a 2018 bigfoot 9.4 LB truck camper, but unfortunately I can't find anywhere the size of the dinette bed. Does any know the measurements of the dinette bed? Thanks, happy super bowl sunday! Mark.
  • Mine is 34" x 70".
It's a 2008, but I doubt if the new ones are different.
  • And speaking of Bigfoot beds...the cabover bed is a "short RV queen".
I'm 5'8", not an issue for me.
  • Yes, very happy. I wish I could use it more. Just a few fishing trips and a couple of winter trips. I sometimes wish for a 10.4 with a dry bath but you have to draw the line somewhere. Once I'm out of the shower I'm fine.
I bought it used 2 years ago. Previous owner bought it and parked it. Never loaded it on his truck again.
I pack heavy and carry more tools and gear than most, so mine is pretty heavy. There is a recent thread here where I posted my CAT scale numbers. I think it is under "Ordering a new Ram".
    I'd buy another one tommorrow.
  • Thanks TxGearhead, really appreciate the info. One more think if you don't mind, do you carry a portable generator, and if so, where? Thanks, looks like i'm going to order one, should be delivered around April.
  • I haven't carried a generator yet. I have 2 Honda 2000's that I plan to just set on the truck rear floorboard when I travel. My A/C is 11,000BTU and just 1 of the Honda's doesn't run it well. It did once, but not another time. I wish I had the 9,000 BTU Coleman Cub.
You may want to look into a rear cargo carrier. I have one and my scissor steps will just clear the rear edge. If you have the new Bigfoot rear bumper plus steps, I'm not sure how a carrier would work. I would have to look closely at how to store the Honda outside to prevent theft.
Congrats on the Bigfoot! Excellent choice.
  • Ya I'm looking into an aluminum box bolted on the Bigfoot bumper. We'll see. Have a great Sunday. And thanks for your help.
  • I don't know how Bigfoot is attaching the hew bumper system. Be careful about how much weight you leverage on it. May not be an issue though.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
