10.6 has same dinette size as 9.6
10.4 bathroom is forward. It is dry bath and has roomy bathroom sink countertop using up some of the length. Angled dinette gives more floor space in front of galley sink area.
^^ What he said. I've also owned both a 9.6 and a 10.4. Looked for a long time for the 10.4. It has a smaller dinette (really a bit too small, if you are tall) but the arrangement is very nice - stall shower and rear dinette with a 180 degree view through the windows. For 2 the 10.4 works well. If the dinette was routinely used for sleeping by any other than children, the 10.6 or 9.6 is probably a better option.
