Bigfoot Truck Camper & 2006 Dodge fuel filler cap

Hi gang,

We have decided to buy a new Bigfoot 10.4 truck camper and just picked up a quad cab 2006 Dodge dually to haul the camper.

I was told by a local RV place that I may have problems with the location of the driver's side tiedown covering the filler cap door.

Just wondering if anyone has experience this?

    Our Fastgun covers the fuel filler door as well but it will open enough to get the fuel hose in. I put a rag between the door and the fastgun to prevent scratching and we are good to go. I use to unhook the fastgun and that is a no brainer as well. I would not worry.

    Congratulations on your new 10.4! The fuel door on my Ford is blocked by the drivers side Fastgun. Easy to remove when fueling up or topping off DEF.

    Idk, but worst case you could take the door off if that would allow you to access it.
