Post does sound a little whiney. My camper is also from late 2008, one of the last built. It has a few problems, less than is typical for an RV I would say. The quality of all of them sucks, but typically Bigfoot sucks less. I had far more problems with a new Monoco class A motorhome, but I didn't whine about it. It's an RV.
On the Sunview windows, I believe both my 1998 Bigfoot camper, and my 1986 Bigfoot 5th wheel had them. I don't know how far back you have to go to find Heur.
Bigfoot did go bankrupts (more than once if the truth be told) and former employees bought the assets at the court sale. That isn't hiding behind bankruptcy, that's just bizniss.
