Some of you folks need to retire from the weight police. OP, tell your friend to join and then talk to some of the folks at the Ridgeline owners forum, folks who have actually owned one, and towed trailers with one. They make plenty of trailers that a Ridgeline is capable of towing, as opposed to running out and trading it in on an F450.
