I've seen several over the years posted on these forums. I think every one was a home-made fabrication job, and all well done. Each trailer A-frame is different because of the positioning of the battery, propane tanks, the curvature of the front cap of the trailer, the position of attachments for the weight distribution bars (regardless of which type of system you have ... something is attached to the frame). A bicycle rack above the A-frame will need to be customized to miss all these items.
I've seen also, on these forums, folks made them them from wood and others made them from metal or aluminum.
The principle is simple. Make a sleeve 2 or 4 upright supports can slide into, position on the tongue. Across the top of each upright are cross members that the bicycles rest on. Usually a track the tires rest on.
It's been a while since I've seen one posted, but I remember the one a forum member posted that was made of 2x4's. I was quite impressed. When I went out to look at the possibilities of doing the same on my tongue, I realized I absolutely could not. The design of my camper leaves no clear spot to attache an anchor sleeve for the uprights... none.
So, if you can find some photos, your best option is to fabricate one yourself.
But, a search of the Internet, I found this:
Click hereThis would still not work on my trailer, no room on my tongue to attach it. The cap of my camper bows forward.
