As far as junipers go I'd have to respectfully disagree. These nano biters are found in areas without trees of any kind. I've read they stay within 300 feet of their birthplace and we've found them in so many places with only scrub brush. They're also called no-see-ums yet you can see um. They should be called no-feel-ums, that would be fitting. That or me-scratch-ums.
