When did this happen? I talked to the factory 5 months ago and wood wall framing was still part of the Timber Ridge line.
The wood framing advantage is better insulation than Al framing. And if you're going to have wood in the walls anyway as fibreglass backing and the interior-facing layer of the laminate, why not have wood studs? Well, to answer my own question, I guess "weight" is why.
And Outdoors RV already has 5 different lines, from the top: BlackStone, WindRiver, TimberRidge, Creekside and Backcountry. Do they really need another? Or will they be replacing one?
Anyway, I'd like to see the floorplans of the new Black Rock line, and any other info online if anybody has seen anything. We like their products and would like to upgrade.
