here is a decent PDF article about toilet chemicals in general and regular Rid-X in particular. The writer likes Rid-X for his motorhome tanks and his credibility is the same as anyone here on this forum. What I like about the article is his comments about the other systems - I generally agree with his points, but that is just me. Based on his experience with Rid-X and lots of water I would think that Rid-X for RVs should be just as good as anything else. It is also cost effective ... important for a product that you are literally flushing down the drain.
