Hum, I always thought of the Grand Cherokee as a small car (crossover). The Cherokee as an even smaller car. - Ron3rdExplorer IIII've never seen a black travel trailer and would not want to deal with the heat. Love the looks of the trailer the OP posted though!
- rbpruExplorer III have seen black class A's, black coversion vans but I do not recall any black TTs or Fivers.
I thought the Red Winnies were cute, but black is not my color.
I cannot imagine the Elkhart factories adding a color option to their 25/day traver schedule. - Community Alumni

I wouldn't call it a small car. It's the same size as a Grand Cherokee. Those little v6 diesels are surprisingly strong. The older v10's were even stronger. - Looks like a HOT BOX to me. No thanks.

A 7716 pound trailer pulled by a Touareg? And gets over 12 mpg. And tows fine without WDH?
What are we doing wrong in the US?
Probably adjustable air suspension - thomasmnileExplorerThere is a La Mesa RV dealership down the road from my home that has several toy hauler fifth wheels on the lot painted black and a dark gray. Given the thin walls and marginal insulation of the typical American RV, they must be pretty toasty inside if parked in the summer sun.
- dadmomhExplorerLol, I was thinking the police command center as well. That just does not appeal to me at all. For sure a heat draw. I'm not even totally excited about some of the Winnie colors...might be fine to look at but I wouldn't want to live with it for years. Think we'll stick with our generic white with some tan/brown swirls and be happy with that choice.
Am I right that a Tourareg is a fairly small car??? Yikes! - Community AlumniI've never seen any for recreational use. In the middle of summer in Texas, as DiskDoctr said, it would just be a solar oven lol. I bet that thing is a nightmare to keep blemish free. I've seen smaller police forces take an off the shelf trailer, black it out, and turn it into mobile command center similar to this.
- downtheroadExplorerI once owned a black car. Never again.
It looked beautiful on the show room floor when it was new. From then on it was a constant, never ending battle to keep it looking decent.
