I have had to blow out the lines on my pool and my boat for years, I'm good at getting all the water out. This is my first attempt at the trailer, and as you can see by my question... I'm not convinced that I got all the water out of the hot side.
Update: I've turned on the furnace inside the trailer and outside temps are above freezing today, so tonight I'm going to try again with the hot side. I am going to put the hot water tank plug back in, close the bypass, and open the feed valves (hot and cold) to the hot water tank and attempt to blow through the tank. Perhaps my bypass valve is stuck closed, or full of ice already. Too tight a space to pull it out just to inspect. I might need to get my heat gun out and gently convince the ice to depart.
