1) No damage to the trailer/undercarriage/trim.
2) I can't tell what caused the blowout. Tires were properly inflated prior to leaving Gettysburg, and this was only 25-30 miles. I'm thinking it was just age.
3) Replacement was easier than I expected. I have Lynx Levelers, and just backed the trailer up onto 3 blocks of height. I started with 2 blocks, and got the blown tire off, but didn't have enough clearance for the new tire, so we had to add the 3rd block. All told, it was 15-20 minutes. The hardest part was reattaching the spare tire rack to the underside of the A-frame. I keep a torque wrench and sockets in the trailer as I always torque the lug nuts before taking off; this made removing & reattaching the lug nuts a breeze.
