I've had MIC Marathon 16's, LR e on mine since 2010 without any problems thus far. As I understand it Goodyear increased QC in their China operations around that time. I've noted fewer negative threads about them here on the forum over the past year or so, so maybe the quality has improved. I think it may have been a bit overblown in the first place. Just mho.
