I was wondering why Blue Ox used that relatively short, flat, wide "wrench", when something longer that was round seemed like it would work better. I figure better leverage with a 2 ft long breaker bar.peoples1234 wrote:
The wrench that comes with the Blue Ox is barely adequate. Ditch it for a 2ft breaker bar and release and hookup will be much easier. I don't remember the socket size off the top of my head, but it will definitely help you.
I actually had someone from Blu Ox call me after about six months or so of ownership and quizzed me about what I liked and what I thought could be approved on and I strongly voiced my opinion of the crappy release tool that comes with the hitch.
