Love my sway pro, 1500# bars, little or no sway, easy to use....good value. Highly recommend!

The one drawback ive found, which happens with any wdh, is when the trailer is off camber to the truck it is very hard to release the snap up brackets if the trailer is pulling up on the hitch at all. have had to stand on the hitch to drop the truck and get the dw to unsnap on occasion.

I have used the newer Blue Ox Sway Pro on my last two Trailers. I have used Equalizer, Husky, and Reese in the past, and like the Blue OX Best so far.
1. Zero sway (all built-in control) Actually saved me several times when run off the road onto the shoulder and pulling the TT back onto the pavement at 60mph) Completely quiet even when backing up.
2. Quickest hookup (once adjusted for your TV) the Roller cam for the chain in brilliant design) No loose parts (no pins or bolts)
3. Always clean (powder coated and sealed grease fittings)
4. Can be used with 5k to 10k TT's by simply changing the bars
5 Very heavy duty

only downside..heavy and yes expensive (around $700) but cheap compared to a Hensley or Pro Pride.

Ours is the Blue Ox 1000. We had an Equalizer for our HTT, but when we made the change RVW recommended the Blue Ox or would order the Eq if we wanted that. DH spent some time on the Blue Ox website watching the videos and liked what he saw, especially the lubrication points. The Eq did a fine job, but was both noisy and greasy. And as age creeps along, was getting a bit tougher to use. He's very happy with the Blue Ox...quiet, clean, easier to set up. Price through RVW was around $550+, the Eq was around $500+. The only issue he's had was some little pin or some such coming out and they sent a beefier replacement lickety split. Excellent customer service.

The trailer and TV are getting one for Christmas.

ive got one for thentruck and trailer combo in the signature with 1200lb bars. sway friction is adjustable by torqueing the bolts on the bottom. works very well and is beefy vs everything else ive seen.

Yes, I use one of the old style versions. Have towed about 25,000 miles with it. Works well. It distributes the weight correctly, as verified on CAT scales, and controls sway.

I like my SwayPro.

Have one, a trunion (1500 lb) bar broke within the first mile of towing. Blue Ox replaced the bars, but, they did not arrive in time for my trip. Have not had an opportunity to tow with it since.

Hopefully, it's not a common occurance and doesn't happen again.

Very happy with mine. Towing a 30', 8000 lb trailer (loaded). Easy to use and the bars are no mess. Also the integrated lubrication points for the sway bars are nice.
