The most expensive maintenance and repair costs of any vehicle we own is my DW Dodge Durango, followed closely by our F450, the X5d is very reasonable in comparison. We currently have in our stable of daily drivers, Dodge Durango, F450, F150, BMW...M5, 330Ci, 128 & X5d and last but not least Honda civic. So how much more is your German car to maintain than the Excursion?
The only thing I have had to "repair" was a noisy alternator at 50k miles. Everything else is just maint. How many oil leaks have those German cars had? Susupension issues? I see more issues with German cars than other cars that come in the shop. and when they do come in they are $$$$$$$$$!
