We ...yes I drive too... tow both our 18 ft bass boat and a 22 foot pontoon. Of course we have a low profile pop up that has great visibility, but we have not had any problems(knock on wood). A camera is in our future, but not critical right now. We are able to keep an eye on it...just a bit...if I leave the shade up on the back door and we look thru the back cab window. The extendable side mirrors help as well. Last trip we even left the TC on to launch it.
I wouldn't sweat it if I was you. Just take you time and know your limitations.
