Iined up straight at the top of the ramp. As long as you can't see the boat in the mirrors you are going pretty straight, slight correction the other way when you see the boat. I do recommend one or two rubber wheel checks behind the back wheels when you get out to launch. I have mine on chains that I attach to tie down chains so all I have to do is pull up the ramp when done launching or recovering the boat, just drag them along till I get to a level spot. I have seen too many rigs turn into submarines. Some people use a front hitch but I have never seen a need for that.
