Interesting story.
I was on the accident and near accident team at work. You know how it works...if Bubba hadn't done that, and the wind was blowing from the west, and the handle was hard to turn would the accident still have happened? The old fire triangle...fuel, fire and O2. Take one out..no fire.
Part of my job was improvement of machinery. Dream up something then go sit in front of the "make change" committee. Ok, Mr. "R"...if that one check valve fails, what happens? Well, high pressure hydrogen releases to atmosphere and self ignites. Lets put 2 check valves on that pipe.
So if you hadn't taken your camper on a business trip you wouldn't have cut your hand. Or if you would have had an approved bailing tool. Or if you would have the proper tool for the job. Or if your hand was not in the "line of fire".
So if one link of chain on my Fastgun fails and the camper shifts and...
Oh, why can't life be simple...
