There are marketing agencies like Polk that get feeds of registration data from the state DMVs and they use the VINs to track brand and model. That's also how he knows which states they are #1 in.

Ram is number one in Idaho only by those that rode the short bus to school (not an easy stat to track, but its true, I swear). :)
That even hurt even over here in WA State!
