A 13.6 DC voltage in of itself does not boil batteries dry otherwise my Iota IQ4 converter which floats at the aforementioned rate would have killed several pairs of batteries over it's 9 years of use in my current rig which is plugged in 24/7. No mention of battery age or type but it may have developed a bad cell which can put quite a strain on a converter. In either case this would be a good time to upgrade your WFCO to a multi-phase smart charging converter.
