Boiling point: How much can your diesel auto trans handle?

I’m totally with ShinerBock. I own the truck that came with the worst auto... when it was stock.
After being built with the right parts, it’ll handle whatever you can throw at it.
My truck came with 215 HP. I keep it in the 400-500 range but if I want 700HP I know exactly what to do to get it.
I’m not truck brand loyal. What I’d really like is a Ford crewcab dually with a Cummins motor and an Allison trans, which is a combo you can actually assemble, but I’m getting old and tired of building stuff like that.
