I have never needed help when it comes to power, so no way José.
Well my 01 was a whopping 235 hp and 410# stock, the DS Power Puck added gave me an extra 50 hp and 150# so in theory I have 285 hp and 560#, I tow an 11,000# 5er with that without slowing much for hills, I do have a set RV275 injectors, to be installed soon. I expect to see stronger hill performance and better mileage. Did I mention the truck has 3.55 gears!
Your truck was 235hp/460tq stock, not 410tq :) I had a 2002. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

"Bombed" as in performance enhancements that make towing easier or better on equipment.

The highest I run the TST for towing is 3/3/3 and I can go over the Az mtns in 6th at 67 mph with my 15k 5er. That's plenty for me! Craig
That run up to the top of the rim at Forest Lakes is a good steep run! Towing my 7000lb TT my slowest speed up that 10 mile run is 69-70 mph limited by EGTs. This is with the Banks Stinger system @ ~340 hp and 680 TQ. Totally worth it. - buckyExplorer II98.5 24V Cummins with a Banks Power Plus kit on it. About 325HP and ~675ftlbs. Best part is the module that detunes it to save the tranny when pulling in the lower gears. Once it it hits 3rd look out, pulls like a freight train. It was one of the reasons I bought this particular truck as I knew the PO and the history. I may do the RV275 injectors, still mulling it over. The drive line will end up in a Super Duty once this dodge rusts away.
- Grit_dogNavigatorI love this forum, it's like a train wreck, can't stop reading!
Lightly bombed here, Bully dog that usually stays on Crazy Larry setting. Too cheap for Smarty or EFI since that's what the truck came with. 60 hp injectors since i needed new sticks anyway and a ceramic SB clutch good for 500hp. - rhagfoExplorer III

I was within my GCW by two tons and over GVW by one ton but never had a need for additional braking or power. Monitoring of vitals was through a Scangage II and navigation via a Pioneer AVIC D2.
