Dry camping in the middle of nowhere is our favorite way to camp. We alternate our trips between a class B conversion van and a 15' vintage travel trailer (52 years old) so we always have VERY limited resources. We love to challenge ourselves to see how long we can make everything last. For water we bring bottled to drink and cook with -- tank water for washing only. I can take a terrific shower with one gallon of water (1/2 gallon if I don't need to wash my hair). We can easily go a week with 30 gallons.
