Bought a Coachmen Freedom Express Bunkhouse

Been looking to trade the 17 ft hybrid since getting a new to us Silverado last month and not relying on the Ford Escape to tow. Spent all week on the 'net researching, and after making 3 stops at local dealers today, found what I was looking for.........a 25 foot bunkhouse. The 2014 Coachmen Freedom Express Bunkhouse 50th Anniversary Edition, only weighs 4200 lbs. Pick it up next Saturday.

    Had the walk through Saturday. Hitched up leaving. Set up in the backyard.

    You know. AZDEL is made in Shelby. As for the hills. Goin up is not as bad as comin down. Coming down, just use a lower gear, and stay off the brakes.

    You may want to try 226 to Toe River, or 16 to Raccoone holler. Saluda, and Black Mountain are pretty tame. And from Shelby. You may would like to go up 221 to Linville falls on the BRP. It is very nice, and cool even in the summer.

    Use 1st gear coming down 226, and the top of 221.

    YES Terry, I still intend to conquer Saluda Mountain and/or Black Mountain soon.

    You have got to bring that thing up the hill with us this summer. Mountain camping will ruin you.
