- jaycocreekExplorer IIThe M35 started as a 1949 REO Motor Car Company design for a 2½-ton 6x6 off-road truck. This original 6-wheel M34 version with a single wheel tandem was quickly superseded by the 10-wheel M35 design with a dual tandem. The basic M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) off-road or 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) on roads.
- towproExplorerI wouldn't bet on it. My last Ram dually was rated higher than that.
The M35 is rated at a load capacity of 5,000 lbs. It can transport ammunition, supplies, and troops and could often carry loads that are double the recommended weight. - jaycocreekExplorer II
There's always a limit to every truck.
Yup,and you got the SRW version(M-34) which also has a limited off road weight of 5K and why they call it the Deuce and a half..They quickly went to the M-35 DRW..
The military even went through this SRW vs DRW fiasco.... - spectaExplorer

Stock cab height is 111", so you can do the math how much height you have left for a cab over and vents. Stock gearing limits you to 58 mph, but there is an overdrive kit.

- Kayteg1Explorer III don't think Torklift makes steps long enough to reach the door.
Love the concept thought. - jimh406Explorer IIIYeah, but now you are too tall to get fuel. :D
- Grit_dogNavigatorBut are you serious? That don’t look like your camper and that ain’t Utah...
(Looks like it could be down the street from me though! - Grit_dogNavigatorWowSpecta, that is pure awesomeness!
Reminds me of another rig I saw recently.
Smallish Class C on a 2nd gen Dodge dually chassis with a tag axle. Looked like a 10 wheeler but only 8 tires.
It looked stout, of course based on rvnet math though, he was a couple tons over his gvwr.... - notevenExplorer IIII doan know .... it’s got single rear wheels ... and no 10spd auto ...:) :) ...
