The OP, at some point, lamented the lack of comments equating this to lack of people who have some type of emergency plan. I hold that there are many more who have done a significant amount of planning but choose not to share it. Somewhat similar to those who refrain from announcing their big road trip, thereby advertising the lack of anyone at home.
