We have the RAM IBC and the Tekonsha P3 installed on our 2016 Ram. If you only need 0 - 8v (or 0 - 2.0 amps per brake assembly) for maximum/emergency braking, the Ram IBC works great. The P3 works great and supports everything from 0 to 12v (0 - 3.0 amps per brake assembly).
If you go aftermarket highly recommend the Tekonsha P3. With the right pigtail it's plug & play with most of the late model Rams.
