Sorry to hear of your troubles and glad everyone is OK. Some very good friends of ours bought the wife a new mommy vehicle when their first born came along. IIRC, it is a 2013 4runner and with <5K miles she experienced a complete brake failure. They were all OK as well, but she hasn't trusted the vehicle since. And I don't blame her.
