Brakes 2500HD 2007

Time to do the brakes. I am looking for some suggestion's on heavy duty brakes, now that I am towing 9500 lb. I don't want to just put standard brakes, unless I learn that standard HD breaks are fine. I will be replacing disc and pads. So any aftermarket??????

    Another vote for (TRUE) OEM pads/rotors, watch out for knock offs on Amazon.

    I bought replacement pads for my 06 at NAPA. I got their higher end pads.

    Rotors were mostly fine - I just had them resurfaced since one or both were slightly warped on the front.

    I am for the OEM on this. . .Try Amazon. . .Lotsa brakes / rotors made in China; I am not a fan of China stuff, , ,YMMV

    I am at 109,000 miles of towing our fifth wheel and all the brakes have still a lot of pad. I think about 150,000 I may have to change the brake pads.

    OEM has been great. 155k on my 2005 in sig, still on original brakes.
