Brand New Rig!

Just pulled the trigger on an unused 2015 Rockwood Minilite 1901. It is 19' 11" overall which probably seems small to many but we are coming from an Aliner Classic which is only 15' so it is a big change for us! The Murphy bed gives a sense of a trailer larger than it actually is. Don't know what we'll do with all the storage. :) I am not a good negotiator so I usually spend more than I should have but I feel pretty good about this deal. It was posted at $25,995 and I got it for $16,500 plus I had them throw in an electric tongue jack, TV and mount, and a trailer dolly. We live on a flag lot so need the dolly to be able to easily place it in the corner of our driveway. Besides walking out on the dealer once, we also told them when they called us at home with a better number that we were going to wait and go up to the RV Show in Tacoma, WA this Sunday and see what kind of bargains could be found there. They called back a couple hours later with the offer we accepted. Looking forward to our first trip out.

  • Congratulations. That was a rig we were seriously looking at. Have fun.
  • Congrats and best of luck with it.

We went from tenting to a small pop-up and then to a 19 foot TT.
Six years ago we went to a 25 foot TT and absolutely love it.
We now snow bird in it for five months in the Florida Keys and it is all we want.

The only time I would ever go bigger is if we put it on a permanent lot and didn't haul it.

  • Congrats.

Isn't it amazing how the price drops when they realize they could lose a sale?

Enjoy, we'll be waiting for the pics. :C
  • For someone who is not a good negotiator you seem to have come out very well
