Furthermore, where are you looking to sell that you can't get a decent trade in price on a 3 year old diesel? Around my parts, the used diesels cost darn near as much as brand new ones... including the "horrible" Rams...
There is very high demand and resale value for them in my area too. That was one of the reasons I ended up buying new even though I was looking for lightly used.
