Let's just say after a few minutes reading the 6.7L forum (with my jaw on the floor I'm sure) I was very happy with my decision to buy a Cummins. I read of several complete engine failures at low mileages. As much as the 6.0L had a lot of nasty problems complete engine failure was rare. Not so much with the 6.7L. Say what you might about the Ram but the latest generation is much better than previous generations and the Ram forums are COMPLETELY different than the Ford diesel forums. Yes there are a few people with some issues (most relatively minor) but nothing like I read today. I'm very happy I got off the Blue Koolaid.
Based on CR surveys some Ram owners may dissagree.

I must be lucky. I had a great experience with my 6.0 PSD for 10 years in a F250 and am now into the third year with my 6.7 CTD with no problems or recalls on my chassis cab 5500 (did have software updates every dealer visit).
Ford is still selling class 5 chassis cabs 3 to 1 compared to Ram. Around my area, you rarely see a chassis cab Ram and I wouldn't be surprised if the ratio is closer to 12 to 1 here.
Watch for new Armored Cars, Wreckers, and Ambulances. Lots of RAMs, and less and less Fords.
Looks like there headed for the junk yard
Being they are from L.A., they are already past their life expectancy.
The fact they are still in one piece speaks of their durability.
