My buddies old 99 and his 01 had massive holes in the middle of the dash, we used to joke with him that the rams were factory equipped with the hole.
And yes, that is Texas registration/inspection stickers in the corner of this windshield.
On the plus side, his 2006 dash is still crack free last I saw.
Looks to me like someone slammed a fist down on the dash and broke it. He was probably out working in his Ram when the mechanic called him and told him how much the next repair would cost on his 6.oh no and he got mad and smashed the dash.;) I dunno, but seems to me that either a light tint on the front windshield or some UV protectant spray would go a long way to mitigate the problem of a cracking dash. Not sure there is an easy fix for the 6.0 engine problems.
