Modifications are always a slippery, costly slope, but then most people don't realize that until they've spent thousands of bucks. If you want more power, buy a bigger truck or get a Class 8 road tractor to pull your RV around with. Problem solved.
You can buy a Class 8 tractor with a DD 16 or a Cummins ISX-C or a Vol-Mack engine that makes over 500 horses and 1900 pounds feet of torque, everyday and if you are incapable of shifting a 13 speed Roadranger, you can get an automatic. All it takes is steel hinges on your wallet or good credit and a huge payment book.
Why fool around with a pickup truck when you can run with the big dogs...
